To ascertain the thoughts of Stockley Kennels contribution
to the upland bird hunter, it all stems from a great hunting dog you follow
throughout a season that leaves the impression on others as well as yourself every
dog is not created equal. A breeding program is so important to obtain this,
it has been our major goal.
We'd all like for hunting to transpire on wild birds, but due to the decrease in
habitat and other circumstances controlling it, that is slowly diminishing. So
we take to preserves as a form of recreation, but it still requires our dogs to
be top notch.
At Stockley Kennels we have hunted our dogs from the prairies of Saskatchuan to the
fields of Kansas and Oklahoma and back home again to edges and hedgerows of our
Eastern Shore of Va. where a lot of major talent has been made over the years.
Again our major goal is a class hunting dog. This gives our breeding program the
supreme edge to find the dogs that have the nose, style, and know-how to hunt
for the gun, this is very important to us and has been the main reason for our
success.

FYI
Early detection is the key to this incideous fatal
disease. Thank you, Judy Lessard
God Bless Everyone
Update Jan. 2011 - Thank you for your prayers for me and my family
Please take a minute to watch this video about my disease.
We have currently halted the production of the factory cranking out these abnormal
blood plasma cells FOR THE SECOND TIME! Unfortunately, the disease has damaged
the kidneys. I will face dialysis in the near future. Just another hurdle to
overcome. Again thank you for your prayers!
A 12 minute cartoon video on amyloidosis
has been produced to help increase awareness of the disease.
It discusses diagnosis and treatment. It was produced by a
young man, Greg Singer who's father has battled
AL amyloidosis like I have. Actually, we were at MSKCC at the
same time in July of 2005 and both had stem cell transplants.
Below is a link to the video.
Amyloidosis video
Since this is a very rare disease please make copies of
this video and give to all of your physicians and bring your friends who have any
heart disease or kidney disease to this video for awareness so that they can become
an advocate in their own diagnosis.
