The following is a synopsis of Stockley Kennels involvement
in the 1999 National Shoot to Retrieve trial.

"Stockley's Last Blast" ran Tuesday, April 20th on A Field. Out of 30 dogs, only 11 advanced to the elimination round on Friday. "Lori" is owned by George Jones of Wilmington, N. C. and was handled by Neil Lessard.

On Wednesday, April 21st on A Field, "Demarest Orchard's Too" ran in the sixth brace. Ten dogs advanced to Friday's elimination round, out of 28 dogs. "Jed" is owned by George Demarest of Hillsdale, N. J. and was handled by Neil.

Wednesday, on B Field, "Namretaw J.J.", owned by Richard Waterman of Woodbine, Va. ran the 8th brace. In the 10th brace, we ran "Stockley's Broker", owned by Gary Wayland of Front Royal, Va. Both were handled by Neil and advanced to the elimination on Friday. Eleven advanced out of 30 dogs on B Field.

Thursday, April 22nd, "Stonegate Rolex", owned by Fred Gray and handled by Neil ran in the 6th brace on A Field. Also running in the 4th brace on B field, was "Sugar Run Gee" out of Stockley's breeding, CH. "Blast's Big Mac" and "Stockley's Queen", owned and handled by Fred Gray of Eastville, Va.

Friday, April 23rd. Only 8 dogs from each field would advance today out of 32 dogs on each field. The team of Broker/Wayland/Lessard on A Field advanced to the Semi-Elimination round, Saturday morning. The team of G-Man/Gray also advanced to the Top 16 Semi-Elimination Round.

Saturday, April 24th. 16 dogs ran in A Field only, just four would advance.
Congradulations to G-Man and Fred Gray on their Third Runner Up Finish in the 1999 National Champion of Champions Trial.
