Comments from some happy owners of Queenie's litters.

12-30-03 - Hello Neil and Judy, I don't know if you remember me but we purchased aa ESF pup (we called Misty Morning Kate) from you just over 8 years ago. Kate was one of Queenie's pups. Sharon, my wife, and I acquired our first computer and one of the web searches we did was on your kennel. What an extensive website, hopefully you are proud of the work you put into this. It is an excellent site! Four years ago, my job had taken me from Eastern Ontario to Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada. Unfortunately there are no field trials close by so we spend our time either hunting grouse or on wild birds outside the hunting season. If you recall Kate had began to lose her intensity on point but the wild birds have changed that. We try to get out 3 or 4 times a week on birds and Kate looks forward to it each and every time. She hasn't slowed down (she is almost 8 1/2 years old and is still in great shape - I can't believe it). We try to keep our jaunts between 1 to 1 1/2 hours in duration because she has just recently showed signs of soreness in her right leg if we go longer. I've had her into the vet but she has indicated its arthritis. As long as she flies for an hour or so I'm happy!! I know she is. I've owned a number of dogs in my life and Kate has certainly been my favourite. I am sure her character and ability is a result of your breeding program. Your website and having met and watched your handling of dogs is certainly a testiment to the great work you have done and continue to do. I wanted to make this brief connection with you to let you know what has gone on with one of your dogs. Larry Harbridge (Queen/Mac litter 1995)

05-15-03 - Just happened to visit your site today and wanted to give you a quick update on Ritz. (We were introduced to you through Scott Ritter) Ritz is by far the best dog I have ever owned, the kids love him and he is an integral member of our family. We will probably look to get a companion for him soon. Thanks very much, Rich Hunt, Baltimore MD. ( Queen/Toby litter 1998)

07-06-03 - Six years ago we got our wonderful puppy, Brewster (of Jersey) (parents Queenie and Toby) as a pet. He is the by far best pet we have ever had. Recently our 13 year old Shetland Sheepdog passed away and we are thinking about getting another dog. Nothing could make us happier than another one just like Brewster! Again, we would be looking strictly for a PET. We don't hunt and don't have any plans for any type of competition. I would probably take the puppy to the local obedience training classes for a year or so. We will always take the dogs to the local bay and marsh (Brewster's favorite place), the beach, the park, etc, etc. Our only requirement is for a dog that does not get car sick. We would NOT want to take a dog that you think would be THE GREATEST bird dog - I would feel guilty not letting it reach its potential! A loving, loyal companion is what we are looking for. The photos of your dogs on the internet are so beautiful, I am proud to have one. I get lots of complements on him everywhere I go. Debbie Adams, Linwood, N.J.

12-25-00 - "Rex" has us right where he wants us. If you need a boyfriend for your brood females just let us know. The puppies on the card were so cute. (Queenie/Rebel 1996 litter) The Laines, Wakefield, VA.

12-25-00 - We were very saddened to learn of Queenie's death. She must have been a wonderful dog because she certainly produced wonderful puppies. We are enjoying ours so much. Bandit is the sweetest most personable dog ever. Whenever she's out for a walk she wants to say hello to everyone she sees. Her tail is always wagging and her enthusiasm for life is infectious. It is impossible to be glum when she is around. She has turned out to be a wonderful companion for our other dog, Maggie. They get along extremely well. Anyway, keep up the good work. Your dogs are the best! - (Queenie/Trip litter) - The Clarks, Wayne, PA.

Ellie is a wonderful pup. She seems to love it here. The vet asked if she was spoiled, a rhetorical question, of course. Ellie likes to play with Max, the yellow lab. They can play for an hour straight. We take Ellie for walks a lot and she is ogled over quite a bit. We have mostly retired neighbors and they love her too. The 20 lb cat has gotten used to her, though they're not friends. It's funny, when we say "Lamar", Ellie's ears perk up and she tries to find him. She is obviously an amazingly bright dog. And she loves to give kisses. She loves her toys. When we're gone we put her in her crate, which is not her favorite thing. Every now and then, she'll go inside on her own and take a nap. Anyway... we are very happy with her and love her a lot. - Marie Kannowski, Alpena, MI. (Queenie/Trip litter)

Ella is wonderful!!! She's growing like a weed, so I'll send pictures of her soon. Thanks again!! She is adorable and SMART!! - Kelly Briggs, Pegram, Tn. (Queenie/Toby litter)

We are having a great time with our puppy. He seems to know what we want him to do most of the time. He seems to be housebroken - right from day one! I don't know how you could have accomplished this with so many puppies and with him being outside most of the time. He has been too good to be true. Everyone in our family loves him. He's a great dog and very loveable. THANKS!!!!!!!!!! - Debbie Adams, Linwood, N.J. (Queenie/Toby litter)

UPDATE - Sept. 24th, 1998 - Last year as a puppy he never really enjoyed swimming. This year he wasn't too sure about it so we took him for a "swimming lesson" every day for a week. By the end of the week, he loved it! Now when the other dogs are fetching balls in the bay, he just swims out. Well, in case you can't tell - I have a lot of fun with him. He's a great dog. People are always commenting on his personality and looks. - Debbie Adams

UPDATE - 12-25-00 - We love getting cards from you with the cute pictures. I hope I am never removed from your mailing list. I also hit your website occassionally because I just can't get enough of these great dogs. My Brewster has become everything I hoped for - the greatest family pet and companion. He is truly a Best Friend. - Debbie Adams
